Shop to sell cheap food and offer free kids' meals

A new shop in Hull will offer cheap food items starting at 20p and provide free children's meals. Set to open in December, the shop will also house a community kitchen and café. Operated on a free membership basis for those on means-tested benefits, the shop aims to reduce food waste while addressing food accessibility challenges in the community.
