More air fryers to be handed out to pensioners

North Lincolnshire Council plans to distribute more air fryers to pensioners to help cut household expenses. The council previously gave out 6,000 air fryers paid for by a £2.3m government grant. A Freedom of Information request revealed that the council spent over £650,000 on the initiative. Those eligible can apply online or through local community centers to receive air fryers, slow-cookers, and one-cup kettles, starting from September.
