Market town's food bank demand triples

The Ludlow Food Bank in Shropshire has seen a threefold increase in people needing assistance, with demand skyrocketing to 84 people per week, up from an average of 28. The food bank is urgently calling for donations of tinned goods like soup and baked beans as their stock manager struggles to keep up. With increased demand, the food bank, open five days a week, is appealing for more support from the community through donations to their collection points in local supermarkets like Sainsbury's, Tesco, and Aldi.
