Many new UK drone users must take theory test before flying outside

In the UK, new drone users must now take a theory test before flying drones outdoors, starting from January 1st. The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) requires individuals flying drones or model aircraft weighing over 100g to complete an online theory test and obtain a Flyer ID. The CAA estimates that around half a million people in the UK may be affected by this new regulation aimed at ensuring drone safety and compliance with the law.
