Jaguar Land Rover restarts some IT systems after cyber-attack

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has initiated a "phased restart" of its operations following a cyber-attack that forced a shutdown of its IT networks in August. The company is working on clearing a backlog of payments to suppliers and increasing processing capacity for invoicing. Concerns are growing about potential supplier bankruptcies due to the extended shutdown, with the government considering support packages. JLR's global parts logistics center is returning to full operations, but its factories are expected to remain closed until next month.
