Electricity price rises a concern, survey suggests

A recent survey conducted by Guernsey Electricity revealed that islanders are primarily concerned about the rising cost of electricity in Guernsey. Following an 8% tariff increase in July, respondents also expressed worries about the security of electricity supply and desired more transparency regarding price hikes and revenue reinvestment by the utility company. Guernsey Electricity plans to enhance transparency, explore options for predictable price increases, and communicate clearer pathways for tariff reform based on the survey results from 3,617 participants.
