Almost half of homes have never switched from Power NI

Almost half of households in Northern Ireland have never switched from their largest electricity supplier, Power NI, according to data from the Utility Regulator. Only 28% have changed suppliers in the last three years. The regulator urges customers to shop around for better deals, as switching rates have dropped recently. With 49% of domestic connections sticking with Power NI, which recently announced a 4% price increase, customers are encouraged to consider their options for energy providers.
